Questions
Does it delete my apps?
No. Nothing is deleted or moved. The apps you pick just can’t be opened during a block, and everything comes back when it ends.
Can I still use my phone during a block?
Yes. Only the apps, categories and websites you choose are blocked. Everything else works as usual.
What if I really need an app?
Open Unbothered, or tap its widget, and press and hold “Hold to end early”. It’s possible, just deliberate. No guilt, no streak lost. The cat may have opinions.
Can Unbothered see what I do on my phone?
No. Apple only gives the app private tokens for the apps you pick. It can’t see their names, which apps you open, how long you use them, or your browsing.
Do I need an account?
No account, no sign-up. Everything is stored only on your iPhone.
Is this parental controls?
No. Unbothered is for adults managing their own phone.
Which iPhones does it work on?
Any iPhone on iOS 18 or later. On iOS 26 the Live Activity starts automatically when a block begins.
